Design is pretty fluid and creative, while development is very inside the box and mathematical. I’ve always loved how web design is a good mix of both. I like to play, but I also like to problem solve. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a project through to completion, and to see a business succeed through my efforts.

My career began with a sort of wake up call. In school, I only ever knew how to make things look pretty. When I dipped my toes into the world of marketing, I was overwhelmed with corporate jargon and talks of strategy and business goals. I have since figured out where my cog goes in the machine we call a business. What it means to be a designer is not to just make things look good, but also to problem solve. When I heard I landed this position with Arrows Up, I was beyond stoked to not only do what I love, but also to work with great people.

After a long day at work, I like to spend time on my hobbies or relax on the couch with my two cats. Some of my hobbies include watching anime (and slowly learning Japanese through it), playing video or board games with friends, crafting cosplays, taking care of my plants, and attending conventions/festivals.
